Locking Ventlock®

Mighton Product’s Original Locking Ventlock is designed to allow a sash to be left open a few inches for ventilation without compromising security. Can be used for added security by fitting just above the meeting rail and for venting by fitting 4″ (100mm) above the meeting rail. We recommend fitting one either side of the sash window.

Description

Mighton Product Original Ventlock was developed to provide a solution for home security and ventilation requirements. The product is not suitable for windows where fire egress is required. Simple to fit, you just need to drill the sash stile using a flat-bottomed drill bit found Here and screw in the restrictor using one of our tools. The pistol drill version or the hand-operated version. Sold separately Here & Here.

Important note:

Safety restrictors sold in the UK need to be tested for load-bearing capacity. Our restrictors have been tested in accordance with BS EN14351-1:2006 and ASTM F2090-2008, 2010, and 2017.
