Description

Our PB2 knock-in parting bead is a straightforward, long-lasting replacement for a worn or damaged timber parting bead. Manufactured from rigid, UV-resistant PVC with flexible wings, it presses into the existing groove and closes up the gap between the sashes — tightening the running channel to cut down on rattle, draughts and noise, without the swelling, warping or rot that timber beads can suffer from over time. Low-friction runners keep the sash sliding smoothly, and because the bead simply knocks in, it can be removed again just as easily for future maintenance. Suitable for both new-build and refurbishment sash windows.
