- Supplied untensioned, our SL balances can be tensioned to hold a sash between 60lb and 70lb in weight
- All of our sash balances come with an unrivalled 25 year no quibble replacement guarantee
- Thoroughly tested to 20,000 cycles
- Non-removable, white tube supplied as standard.
- Tube covers available in other colours
- Supplied with a tensioning key per order and all the fittings required for your timber sash window
- We recommend routing out a 22mm groove to house the balances
- Fitting and tensioning instructions available to download
- Maintenance. Spiral balances should be kept free of plaster or other building dust & debris as this may interfere with the smooth operation of the springs and spiral
- Depending upon location, cleaning and lubrication of the spiral rod may be desirable after a length of time, the periods of which will vary according to site circumstances.
- A few drops of light oil applied to the spiral rod will always improve the operating action of a balance.
