The Restricted Egress Friction Hinge combines the features of a standard and an egress restrictor hinge. They provides protection against falling through windows in an initial restricted mode, and then offers a quick escape route in the event of a fire in the egress position. Supplied as pair, the hinges differ. One hinge is restricted and one isnt. The restricted egress hinge is fitted to the bottom of the sash whilst the unrestricted egress hinge is fitted to the top.

• The hinge automatically resets after closure from the egress position
• The hinges are availble  in both right and left hand options to suit your windows
• A right hand opening window (hinged on the left) requires a right handed pair of restrictor
• Windows with both sashes opening would require a right and left hand pair of hinges
