Description
Angel WOCD® are Window Opening Control Devices (WOCDs) and were specifically developed to restrict the amount a sash window’s lower sash can open. Fitted and used properly, they can prevent your child from opening the sash far enough to fall through. They do not require a key to operate and are unique in the way they reset automatically when you close the window.
Please view our video for more information on fitting and using an Angel WOCD to keep your child safe.
Extended Side Fix Angel WOCD® (ANGELSX) are fitted into the stiles of the top sash, one on either side. The units are single action, so fitting two ensures compliance with ASTM F2090-21. These products are for factory-fit/Joiner-fit applications as access to the sides of the sash are required to fix them in place. The extended side fix is deeper than the traditional Sidefix unit allowing a fixing further back away from the metal reinforcing used inside some PVCu sashes.
