Company Statement – Coronavirus (COVID 19)

Mighton Products Ltd is fully aware that there is a real concern from customers about the impact of the coronavirus on their business. Our aim continues to be to provide you with the best products, with the best service, at the best prices – in other words ‘business as usual’.

However, we understand the concerns of the current situation and want to reassure our valued customers that we have taken all necessary steps to mitigate any potential impact on our business and yours.

Supply chain

• We want to reassure customers that our supply chain is robust and well monitored
• Our stock levels are currently at the highest position of the year
• We will continue to work closely with our supply base and as the situation develops we will communicate any issues if and when they occur
• We do not anticipate any product shortages as a result of the current situation

Personnel

It is important that as a business we protect the health of all our staff.

• We have taken additional steps of providing all staff with clear information on the virus, methods of control and NHS / Government websites for their reference
• We have equipped our premises with several hand sanitising stations and are continuing to undertake additional cleaning procedures
• We are also monitoring staff holidays and destinations
• We expect any employee suffering from the recognised symptoms of Coronavirus infection to contact the NHS 111 helpline and be guided through the testing process provided
• A contingency plan has been developed in the event that our business has any confirmed cases
• Engineering, Marketing and Accounts staff may move to home working if appropriate
• We will be recommending the use of Skype and ‘virtual meetings’ where possible
• We encourage customers to order online where appropriate.

These are also a number of additional controls that we have implemented in response to this outbreak. Our focus remains on ‘Business as Usual’ and an uninterrupted supply to our valued customers whilst we remain diligent and responsive to government recommendations and guidance.
