| 1. Installation Guide |
Lift up window several inches
 .

Cut staff bead above and below bottom sash
|
Remove staff bead section and fit Batten Rod Hinges and Batten Rod Screw to staff bead.
Remove sash cord from sash and fit Cord Clutch and Cord Grip.

Install Slotted Hinges on opposite frame.

Fix locating screws for Slotted Hinge
|
| Lower sash to engage locating screws.
|

| 2. Operation |
  Release the batten-rod screw and open the hinged batten-rod.
Open the simplex hinges and engage the locating screws on the bottom sash.
The sash will easily swing inwards.
Unhook the cord grip on the sash frame and engage the cord clutch to hold sash weights in place.
