Mighton go antique

Mighton Hardware have just launched their Antique Range of casement window hardware for timber, composite and PVCu windows as they look to expand from their core market of vertical sliding sash hardware.

Within the new product range are Wave, Monkeytail, Curl, Crook and Hook casement window stays and fasteners, each one available in a number of different sizes with various keep options. For example, the Monkeytail stay comes in 8, 10 and 12 inch lengths with mortice, hook, wedge or espag keep options.

These products have been sourced in the UK and are manufactured using the highest quality malleable iron from a Midlands based foundry. The foundry harnesses heritage, traditional skills and methods that date back over 150 years. For period houses requiring rfseplacement windows they are the perfect match and can also be used on traditional looking PVCu casement windows.

Through Mighton’s highly impressive website at www.mightonproducts.com, a competition was posted to help promote the new range and the winner for a bottle of champagne was SBS Joinery. The new range is fully in stock and given that Mighton can boast an impressive order fulfilment level in excess of 97%, customers can be confident that their order for the new Antique Range will be delivered on time and in full.

Gary Morton, managing director of Mighton Hardware commented: "This is an important and strategic move for us into the timber casement window market. It’s clear that investment supports existing customers, stimulates growth and can open up new markets. There’s also a lot more to come from Mighton before the end of the year!”
