Jacky Black has joined VS window hardware specialist, Mighton Products, as area sales manager and brings with her over 10 years experience in the glass and glazing industries.

Mighton Products has a history in the timber sliding sash market that dates back to 1983 and it is now regarded as a world leader in the sector and its patented Angel Ventlock™ has received acclaim from both the UK and USA markets. In addition the newly formed company of Mighton Hardware, which is aimed primarily at the PVCu market, has already jumped out of the starting gates quickly with impressive sales for the first six months of 2011.

The growth of both sides of the business has necessitated the addition of new people and Jacky is the latest addition to the team, that’s headed up by managing director, Gary Morton. Gary comments: "We’re delighted to appoint Jacky, given her impressive track record and she’ll be a fundamental part of the team right from Day 1. I do believe we’re building something quite special at Mighton and have bold plans for the future.”
